This part of the beach is known as the 'Pine Walk' where many elaborate sand castles are constructed throughout the summer as tourist attractions. The photograph was taken in October after a rainfall during the night, and many of the sculptures had been damaged, including this one. The view looks across the sea towards the
harbour and the
marina.
