   The famous ski resort of Andermatt in the Swiss Canton of Uri, is surrounded by the high Alps on all sides and is an important staging post for four major Alpine crossings. In summer it is an ideal starting point for the three-pass tour over the Furka, Grimsel and Susten Passes. This is a view from outside the Hotel Drei Königen & Post, on the outskirts of the village.
