Switzerland

   Interlaken is situated at the junction of Lake Thün and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Swiss Bernese Oberland. This is the Schaalbrücke bridge in the old part of the town dating back to 1471, and where the River Aare links the two lakes together. Google Streetmap below will show how the old building to the left of the red car by the bridge, has now been replaced by an ugly new block.
