The design of the courtyard surrounding this church in the Maggia Valley, incorporates alternating stripes of native white Peccia marble and grey Vallemaggia granite, matching the inside of the church. The amazing design by the Ticinese architect Mario Botta can only be fully appreciated from
the inside.
