Switzerland

   This is one of the regular ferries that sail across Lake Thün between the city of Thün and Interlaken, stopping off at various villages on the way. You may even be lucky enough to travel on a restored steam paddleboat, the 'Blumisalp' which is also used for special occasions. In good weather there are excellent views of the surrounding scenery including the Niederhorn and Niesen mountains, Oberhofen Castle, and the little village of Spiez.
