Charmouth Beach
A view of Charmouth beach from the car park end looking towards Golden Cap in the far distance, the highest cliff on the south coast of England. The fossil-rich cliffs along this beach were formed some 200 million years ago during the Jurassic period and are now visited by fossil hunters from around the world.
