Ponte dei Salti, Lavertezzo
This 17th century double arched Roman bridge crosses the Verzasca River near to the village of Lavertezzo in Ticino. It was rebuilt in 1960 and is a popular location for visitors who climb over the smoothly polished rocks to bathe in the many natural rock pools. Local lads were jumping off the bridge into the water when I was there.
