   This photograph was taken from the modern footbridge crossing over one of the medieval leats and leading to Cricklepit Bridge, the large metal suspension footbridge seen here in the distance, and which crosses the River Exe. The view looks down along the River with it's riverside collection of historic industrial buildings. The old-world appearance of Exeter Quay led to the filming here of the television series "The Onedin Line" in the 1970's.
