This complex of a restored 19th century village, docks and quays which was once the richest copper port in Victorian times, is now is now an open air museum and a World Heritage Site. The reconstructed overhead rails leading to the dockside can be seen here, together with a demonstration of Victorian rope making. The renovated wooden sailing ship is the Garlandstone, built by shipwright James Goss, launched in January 1909, and now a tourist attraction in the main dock. Morwellham Quay was the location for the 2010 BBC series 'The Edwardian Farm'.
