Exeter’s new shopping quarter, Princesshay, first opened to the public in September 2007, and at a cost of £225 million it represents the single largest investment in the history of the city. Open spaces and public art, together with views of the Cathedral and Roman City Wall, create a distinctly European atmosphere.
