Mullion Cove has an attractive working harbour only 5 miles from Britain's most southerly point on the Lizard peninsula. It is protected from the winter gales by two stout sea walls built between 1887 and 1895. This is the view from the end of the west pier where the pole on the concrete hut once carried an oil lantern.
The panorama, taken in September 2012, also shows extensive storm damage to the tip of the eastern pier opposite.
