Porthleven Harbour Lock
Porthleven is an attractive fishing port near Helston in Cornwall, and the most southerly port in Great Britain. This panorama was taken at the entrance to the inner harbour where there is a lock gate with channels each side for balks of timber to be let down during stormy weather. Unfortunately, in 2014 the lock gates were breached by storms and exceptional high tides flooding the inner harmour and causing extensive damage to the boats within.
