The is the view from East Cliff during an exceptional low tide looking east along the famous Jurassic Coastline towards Black Ven, Charmouth, Golden Cap, and West Bay.
A large expanse of rocks is exposed which are the remains of ancient cliffs, rich in fossils dating back to Jurassic times, and fossil hunters regularly comb this beach hoping to find specimens. |
